Directions
Getting to Playa Las Tortugas from Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara is not difficult. And finding La Villa Reyes once you get here is simple. Just follow our instructions below! The last 9 kilometers of road are flat and can be navigated with a normal car, but is quite bumpy, so please be patient and allow 30 minutes for this part of your trip.

Checking-in

Meals & food
The charm of Playa Las Tortugas is its beauty and remoteness. But with that comes a lack of nearby restaurants or stores - the nearest is 45 minutes away. Please plan to bring all the food and necessities you will need, or arrange for our private chef service. About 1/2 of our guests choose the chef service. It’s wonderful!
-
Water
We have a drinking water service so several 5 gallon jugs will be available for your use. No need to bring your own bottled water.
We provide large glass bottles that you can fill and place in the refrigerator to ensure you have cool drinking water.
-
Internet
We have Starlink internet from SpaceX which provides excellent high-speed internet. From the listing of wifi networks on your device, select “La Villa Reyes”, then enter the password “41Tortugas!”.

Fun things
Here is a brief list of some of our favorite things to do here in Playa Las Tortugas.
-
Cascahuin Tequila
We have a limited supply of delicious artisanal tequila from Cascahuin. We also have traditional “copitas” to drink from so you can savor the smells of agave. This tequila is too good for a shot glass! We offer blanco, reposado and añejo.
-
Microbrews
We bring in cases of our favorite Puerto Vallarta beer straight from their brewery. We think Los Muertos fits the Playa Las Tortuas vibe.
-
Sonoma Wine
It can be hard to find good wine in Mexico, so we bring some down from Northern California. Benziger from Sonoma is one of our favorites.
-
Things to be aware of
