December Weather

The weather in Playa Las Tortugas this past December was stunning. And this was the first month with our new weather station in place, which enabled us to capture all the details.

The high temperature ranged from 77° to 85° in December in Playa Las Tortugas. Any one of which I’d gladly take! Meanwhile, the nighttime lows ranged from 58° to 69°, which is quite comfortable for sleeping!

I was pleasantly surprised by how many sunny days we had in December in Playa Las Tortugas. Every day was mostly sunny except one (December 16th). I have only visited for week-long stays in the winter so figured I just always got lucky with the sunshine!

The humidity in December in Playa Las Tortugas is quite lovely ranging from 50% to 74% during the day. Coupled with the temperature range of 77° to 85° (see above) you would be hard-pressed to find a more comfortable climate.

So, there you have it! Our first report on the Playa Las Tortugas weather using our new weather station data. We look forward to keeping tabs on things through the rest of the year.
